Old Foe Shows Up At Tyson's Vegas Show

What do you do when your old enemy is sitting in the audience?

It's a question arguably no Las Vegas performer has ever wanted to deal with, but Mike Tyson just encountered this scenario as Evander Holyfield showed up in the crowd at his one-man show, "Undisputed Truth," Sunday at the MGM Grand.

You might remember Tyson chewing off part of Holyfield's ear in what became known as "The Bite Fight" in the summer of 1997.

During the performance, Tyson told stories about Holyfield, Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review-Journal says, and the crowd went wild as Tyson "heaped praise" on Holyfield.

After the show the former heavyweight champs even posed for photos backstage.

Adam Steck, producer and creator of Tyson's one-man show, has big plans to continue the show around the world. The six-day Vegas run ends Thursday night. However, this could be just the beginning of a profitable second career for the former baddest man on the planet.

"We just got a seven-show offer from Australia," Steck said. "We're getting a lot of interest in Europe...We'll just gather the offers and plot it out methodically."

Nothing is wrong with doing the show in Europe, on the other hand, Tyson has some bigger dreams.

"He wants Broadway. He's always wanted a Tony Award. That's on his bucket list," Steck said.

In any event, it's a safe bet that Julie Harris and Angela Lansbury's five Tony Awards aren't in any immediate danger.
